Customer Feature: Shandar, the owner of Pendragon Quills And Seals

We’re excited to share the work of one of our customers who works with CB Flowers & Crafts artificial flowers. As wholesale distributor of wholesale floral supplies, we meet entrepreneurs and skilled artisans who create unique flower headpieces and beautiful flower garlands for resale. 

Shandar, the owner of Pendragon Quills And Seals, hand makes beautiful flower garlands, flower crowns and flower headpieces for fairs and festivals. Shandar has found success by carrying her unique creations at events like the Escondido Renaissance Festival.

We spoke with Shandar who began selling handmade flower garlands in 2001. After visiting her first renaissance festival with a friend in Escondido, CA, Shandar saw an opportunity to offer her own flower garlands. She noticed the lack of flower hair garlands available at an inexpensive price point and decided to bring affordable and beautiful flower garlands to renaissance festivals. Now, with over 15 years of experience, Shandar has recently expanded her range of floral garlands and flower headpieces to include a new style with CB Flower & Craft’s large paper rose flowers.

“I have been selling the ones with the small roses for just over 15 years. I was excited to finally find large roses. I have recently added the large roses and my customers love them. Thanks to the great pricing your company offers, I am able to keep my pricing at $12 each or 2 for $20.”

CB Flowers and Crafts originally started as a standalone retail shop in the LA Fashion District. While the operations have expanded into a wholesale business, CB continue working with small business owners, entrepreneurs and family businesses. Because of our history, we understand the difficulty of owning and operating an independent business and are thrilled to hear about Shandar’s continued success.
